Which cloth is best for me?
Jewellery and Watches
SR and PR cloths – 100% cotton velvet polishing surface, to remove finger marks and light soiling, giving a streak free shine with no lint residue.
SC Silver cloth contains an impregnated cleaning and anti-tarnish agent, to restore the natural lustre of Silver items and can bring back the shine to vintage and aged Silver.
JC Jewellery cloth, for use with solid gold items. As with our SC silver cloth, the JC cloths is impregnated with a cleaning agent which will bring back the natural lustre to your gold items and even works great on vintage and aged gold.
Silver
As above but use the Selvyt SC cloth for the cleaning operation. This cloth contains an anti-tarnish ingredient which keeps the silver sparkling. Finish off with a Selvyt SR or Selvyt PR "A" polishing cloth.
Gun Polishing
The SR cloth is perfect for cleaning both the wood and metal parts of your guns. Use in conjunction with your preferred cleaning solutions as specified by the manufacturer.
Spectacles
The MF woven Microfiber cloth offers an unparalleled performance when used with Lenses and optics, leaving a streak free shine without any lint residue.
Musical Instruments
Our MF microfibre and PR Cotton cloths offer the best all-round polishing performance when it comes to cleaning of finger marks, condensation and other light soiling. Combine with your favourite instrument cleaner/polish for heavier cleaning. For Silver plated instruments (Brass/Wind), the SC silver cloth contains a powerful cleaning agent to remove oxidisation and leave an anti-tarnish finish. Use this before finishing off with the MF or PR cloth
Boots and Shoes
Apply shoe polish and lightly polish with reverse of Selvyt SR or Selvyt PR "B"cloth to take off excess polish, then polish briskly the boot or shoe with the raised side of the cloth to obtain an enviable shine.
Crystals & Gems
Our PR cloth has an ultra soft raised cotton face which will remove light marks and bring back the sparkle, without leaving streaks, scratches or lint residue.
Cars
Use a Selvyt SR or Selvyt PR "C" cloth to buff the paintwork after waxing. Perfect for your classic car or your much loved run about.
Camera lenses, TVs, Laptops & Device Screens

Use Selvyt SR cloths for all general polishing jobs. Ideal for windows, mirrors, wooden and plastic surfaces.
Furniture
Polish up with Selvyt SR or Selvyt PR "B" cloths for lightly soiled surfaces. For more stubborn staining, our Heavy Duty lemon cloths are a powerful solution and can be used before finishing off with the SR/PR cloths.
Leather
The SR and PR cloths have an ultrasoft raised face, making them ideal for polishing up leather surfaces without damaging the natural surface. Use in conjunction with your favourite leather conditioner to prolong the life of your leatherware
